Juggernaut : Predator

ChromeRatt: Modified the style of this post to match the others.

The idea is to promote teamwork and be as true to the first movie as possible: a hairy-scary invisible monster from hell with superior firepower easily slaughtering ill-equipped humans with style. Too bad there's no way to rip out spines in Halo2. ;-)

Favorite Taunts: "Kill me! I'm here!" and "Want some candy?"

If the players don't work together they will have NO chance at all. You could play this on a large map, but it will be harder for the players to get together to make a team effort/take a stand against the predator because they'll be spread out.

I also like the players using brute shots (grenade launcher) for this, but that makes it a little too easy IMHO.

..."Bullet Hose" = SMG...

I think playing on a medium sized map like Sanctuary, Turf or Ascension might be fun too. Give people a chance to bunch up in small groups.

All of the tight quarters in Headlong might could make for some interesting blood shed. A large map would bring out the hunting aspect (predator / prey) of the game.

I'm also going to try this on a huge map like Coagulation, Waterworks or Containment to see how it works with Warthogs.

After playing this again I realize my small map logic is backwards. Players have a better chance of regrouping on big maps, not to mention more distance to get those extra few rounds off before you get hacked to pieces.

It's more fun for me personnally to play on a small map, especially that new jungle map, only because I enjoy an insane challenge and total chaos.

I love playing this game. I prefer (gasp) Backwash for that original Predator feel.

I also think it's alot of fun on Turf (ala Predator 2) - just don't get caught all alone in an alley like King Willie... or it's dread, mon... truly dread.
